The batteries on your mobility products are the life blood of the product, if your batteries are not of a substancial capacity then your mobility products will not operate correctly, you risk causing more damage to the product and it is highly likely that your mobility product will breakdown.
Although it should act as a very loose guideline batteries from new that are maintained correctly and used frequently will start to loose power after around 2 years.
in order for your mobility scooter or powered wheelchair batteries to function as well as possible we recommend that you should charge the batteries for 8 – 10 hours after each substantial use, if you stop using your mobility product then you should still give them a full charge once a fortnight, we dont recommend part charging.
If your mobility product has been stood for a long period of time it is highly likely that your batteries will need replacing even if your battery indicator on your machine is showing full.
as batteries are an expensive part of your mobility product we recommend our free battery test before you look to replace them, we will also test your battery charger at the same time.
simply call one of our friendly team and we can pop and test the batteries for you free of charge and without obligation to replace them with us.
we only supply quality manufactured batteries unlike some of our cheaper competitors that source imported products that dont offer the same performance or durability
